The Lethbridge YMCA wants everyone to have the opportunity to take part in its programs and enjoy its facilities and services. Financial assistance is available for those who feel they would benefit from joining the YMCA but are financially unable, not unwilling, to pay the full General membership and/or program fees.

The Lethbridge YMCA assisted memberships are made possible through dollars raised annually. It is through the outstanding generosity of our YMCA family and friends that these dollars are available for people who need them. Visit the Member Services desk for further information.

Assistance Process

To apply for an assisted membership there is an interview process and some preparation is needed on your part:

• Take a tour of our facility and learn more about the YMCA, including workout areas, schedules

and programs.

• Pick up an assisted membership form from the front desk.
• Return the form filled out in full to the front desk. At this time you will be issued a temporary

one-month pass. Before this pass expires you must book an appointment with the Assisted

Membership representative.

• Bring in your temporary pass, pay stubs, expense receipts to the meeting.
• If you cannot make the appointment, please call to inform the YMCA. If an appointment is missed, the applicant must wait another month before rebooking their appointment.
